With miles upon miles of tropical coral reef surrounding the islands it can be a little daunting sometimes finding the best spot...or trying to find a specific place, like the sunken steamboat or spanish galleon. Handily, we have a number of tour operators and experienced individuals who will be more than happy to take you.
The reef around the Corn Islands is home to a spectacular array of sea life from black tipped reef sharks and leatherback turtles to tiny shrimp and brilliantly coloured tropical reef fish...a paradise under the water. With a casual splattering of sunken wrecks, drift dives, majestic coral forests, wall dives, the world famous Blowing Rock, and the sunken statue of the Virgin Mary there is a chance you may need 3 dives a day to see it all.
Dive certification is available for all levels of diver as well as an introductory "Discovery" dive requiring no certification.
Stand Up Paddle-boarding has found its home in the calm, and for the more adventurous not so calm waters surrounding the Corn Islands. Secluded bays, inland swamps, open ocean, easy entry from crystal white sand beaches, places to visit every few hundred meters right around the island.
The newest way to get salty and wet! Dive deep beneath the waves while being towed through the water by speedboat. An exhilarating rush, a unique experience, and all possible with minimal guidance. Definitely one to give a try while you are here.
Still popular after all these years: the trusty pedalo, for those wanting the relaxation in the sun and on the sea with just a little bit of exercise thrown in.
Sailfish, Wahoo, Snapper, Barracuda and Marlin. Just five great reasons to go on a deep sea fishing trip in the waters that surround the islands. Bait, tackle, equipment, transport and refreshments all supplied.
A glass of sparkling wine to toast the sun's final descent for the day as you and a loved one enjoy an aquatic picnic under the Caribbean dusk sky...or maybe even a few beers between friends as you enjoy the marvel of the ocean's reflection of the heavens.
